Special Needs

In our center there is no gifted student. Predominate students with learning disabilities, there are also four students with severe mental retardation and students with some changes in language (Dyscalculia, Dyslexia ...).

Extracurricular activities

From the Department of Educational Guidance, the only extracurricular activity that is done, is out with students with special breakfast at a cafe people thus needs, enhance their social skills and their way of relating to others.

They also participate in activities organized at school level:
- Celebration of the Day of the Rights of the Child.
- Celebrating Christmas.
- Peace Day.
- Day of Andalusia.
- Environment Day.
- Day of coexistence of the educational community.
- As annual excursions: to the zoo, to the Olympic Stadium ...

LIBRARY

We have a library center, where you can find books on general subjects; as well as, a library of the educational guidance department, whith special needs specific books: hyperactivity, dyslexia, mental retardation ...

- She has been coordinator of the School Program Area of Peace since 2012 and of the Support Plan since 2013.

General overview

Our department consists of three people: two special education teachers (one dedicated to specific classroom and the other responsible for teaching in elmentary and secondary education) and a teacher of educational support. There is no firm dedicated to our department, but we have the specific classroom (on the ground floor of the building) and Therapeutic Education Classroom (first floor); the latter is the one that performs the functions of office, that is where the work carried out coordinating educational guidance department.

Welcome

The Educational Guidance Department provides learning support for those children who have special educational needs at the Cecilio Fuentes de la Fuente school, in Alanis (Seville).
